Passing the CISSP Exam…

Although most of the questions on the CISSP Exam require you to have hands on experience, book knowledge and theory, you can categorize the question types which will help you score higher on the exam.
One can categorize questions types on the CISSP Exam. I’ve found 8 types of questions that appear regularly in practice exams. Here they are:
1. Not true.
a. Appear in about 10% of the questions on the CISSP Exam.
b. “Which of the following is not…”
2. Requires knowledge or memorization.
a. Appears in about 58% of the questions.
b. “What is the last phase of the TCP/IP three-way handshake?”
3. Must be true.
a. Appears in about 1% of the questions.
b. “Which of the following is true?”
4. Have something in common/match the technology.
a. Appears in about 13% of the questions.
b. “Which one of the following <descriptive keyword=closely matches answer>?”
5. All the above.
a. Appears in about 10% of the questions.
b. “A VPN can be established over which of the following?”
6. Fill in the blanks.
a. Appears in about 1% of the questions.
b. “A data custodian secures resources after ________ has assigned the resource a security label?”
7. Logical/binary/formula.
a. Appears in about 5% of the questions.
b. “What is the value of the logical operation X ^ Y?”
8. All but one.
a. Appears in about 2% of the questions.
b. “…all but which of the following?”
Colorado Hunting Brochure is out…

If you have hunted in Colorado recently then you should receive the 2010 brochure by mail. Check out some of the changes for 2010:
- Hybrid Drawing for elk and deer.
- Gunnison Basin limitations.
- 3rd Rifle season is extended to 9 days long.
- Statewide Muzzleloading is gone. Season is available in specific units only.
- Nonresident cow elk licenses have increased to $351-354.00.
